Making the Right Choice For Moving Your Work Into the Protected Jurisdiction of a Private Contract Association

5 Things You Must Know to Make the Right Decision For You

There are quite a few options available for anyone who is seriously committed to moving their work out of the public system into a protected, private jurisdiction. The challenge is that not all paths lead to the same destination.

The purpose of this page is to provide some key pieces of information that will help you make a better informed decision about the best way forward for your situation.

This journey is not just about getting the "right" documents or completing a checklist to make sure you're "safe," it is about building a structure through which your intentions for your work and those who benefit from it can be made real without interference.

ITEM #1:
What is the Difference Between a PMA, PCA and PMS?

In the very broadest sense, there is little conceptual difference between a PMA (Private Membership Association), a PCA (Private Contract Association) and PMS (Private Membership Society).

But the concept of a private agreement between two living beings is where the similarities end.

The reason why is that the implementation of each of these conceptually similar ideas can result in completely different results with extremely different levels of and protection. If you don't ask the right questions, it is very easy to think you are getting one thing when you are actually getting something very different.

If you are considering an option for a PMA/PCA/PMS where you are promised a single contract and perhaps instructions for acquiring an EIN, know that you are not taking full advantage of the protections available to you. Plenty of examples are available showing the strength of this approach is not adequate.

At FreedomWorks, we help our members build multi-entity, multi-layered, Private Societies within which is a Private Contract Association through which they can do their work. We use the phrase "Private Contract Association" to emphasize the right to contract as the primary mechanism supporting its function. In addition to the creation of the PCA and other entities of the Private Society, we help our members create the required entities to interface with various public systems including the banking system.

ITEM #2:
The Importance of Jurisdiction

JURISDICTION is a very important topic when it comes to law. A simple explanation of jurisdiction is that it is where something is taking place…the authority that the parties agree to…the law form that is agreed upon.

Juris = law
Diction = word

Juris also means oath. So another way to define jurisdiction is spoken oath.

To maximize the protections afforded to your work with a PCA/PMA or PMS, it is vital that you understand the jurisdictional details of the entity. An important question to ask is "In what jurisdiction does the PCA/PMA/PMS exist?"

It is important that any private entity does NOT exist within the jurisdiction of the "United States" or any other jurisdiction that is attached to that, or any other public jurisdiction.

At FreedomWorks, we help our members create Private Societies that exist in a lawfully created, fully private jurisdiction, without the United States (Corporation). When a living being contracts with the Private Contract Association of the specific Society, any exchange between the two parties is performed within that private jurisdiction and has zero connection or attachment to the public system.

ITEM #3:
Paint-By-Number, Fill-in-the-Blank? Or a Unique Expression of Your Deepest Intentions For Your Work in the World?

While options do exist for creating a PMA/PCA simply by "filling-in-the-blanks" of generic, templated documents, this approach not only diminishes the energetic protections of the entity but also forces the living being to conform to the pre-set confines of the template rather than having the expression come forth from the unique vision, beliefs and mission of the creator of the Society.

At FreedomWorks, we help our members create a Private Contract Association (held within a greater Private Society) that is completely tailored to the unique intentions they have for their work in the world. This begins with an extensive guided process to achieve a high level of clarity regarding the Vision, Beliefs and Mission of the Society and to discover how best to articulate these "hard to put into words" big ideas. For many, this process is one of the most valuable and transformative experiences of the entire journey in that it helps to facilitate a permanent expansion of awareness, power and the ability to see what is possible in the world.

Here are some comments from one of our Members mentioning this process:

ITEM #4:
The Danger of "Registering"

To maintain the integrity of any PMA, PCA or PMS, careful attention must be given to avoid any attachments with the public system. The act of REGISTERING is something that creates such an attachment.

Any entity that is registered with any public entity is jurisdictionally attached to that entity.

Creating a Private Membership Association, for example, and then registering it with any state body or in order to receive an EIN for the PMA (e.g. to get a bank account) would completely severely compromise the protections provided by the entity.

At FreedomWorks, extreme care is taken to avoid any unwanted attachments to the public system. While our members do create specific entities strategically designed to interface with some parts of the public system (e.g. for banking), the private entities of the Society are created and managed in such a way as to never create that attachment. This is key to maintaining the integrity of the structures that protect the work you do in the world.

ITEM #5:
Creating a PCA/PMA is Step One, Managing and Maintaining Its Integrity is Step Two

Moving your work into the protected jurisdiction of a Private Contract Association is a process, not an event. The creation of the PCA is not the "end," it is only the beginning.

A Private Contract Association is not a "silver bullet," the existence of which will make every problem go away. Nor will a PCA magically stop the world from inquiring about your affairs. The properly formed PCA serves only as a strong foundation on which one must stand in response to various levels of possible inquiry from the public system.

Education is required to properly manage all of the entities of the Private Society (the PCA is just ONE), to develop a thorough understanding of the protections the Society provides and acquire the skills to defend them when necessary. Without this understanding, the protections may as well not exist.

At FreedomWorks, we offer our members the education and ongoing support required to manage and maintain the Private Society that is created to support their work. Additionally, we partner with other like-minded organizations who have developed mastery in various ares of the public system to offer assistance in peaceful settlement of any issues that do arise.
